Sewa ("Sewa," "we," "us," or "our") connects local brands with community clubs through sponsorships. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, including:

Club applications: your name, email address, club name, category, city, neighbourhood, meeting cadence, a description of your club, average attendance, member count, Instagram handle and follower count, and typical age range.
Sponsor waitlist submissions: if you join the sponsor waitlist as a brand, we collect your contact details along with information about your brand and sponsorship goals.
Communications: anything you send us by email, such as questions about applications or campaigns.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as browser type, device information, and general usage data, to keep the site working correctly and secure.

How we use your information

To review and process club and campaign applications.
To match community clubs with brands whose sponsorship goals fit, and to introduce the two parties.
To communicate with you about your application, campaign, or account.
To operate, maintain, and improve the Sewa website and services.
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or activity that violates our Terms of Service.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

Matching brands and clubs: when a club is approved, details from its application (such as club name, category, location, attendance, and social media stats) may be shared with brands evaluating sponsorship opportunities.
Service providers: we may use third-party tools (for example, hosting or email delivery) that process data on our behalf, solely to help us operate Sewa.
Legal reasons: if required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sewa, our users, or others.

Data retention

We keep application and campaign information for as long as needed to operate Sewa, including to maintain a record of past matches and communications. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing joinsewaspace@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children's privacy

Sewa is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Sewa after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
